A soothing gel. Can be added to moisturiser base, shampoo or conditioner. A member of the Lily family (Liliaceae) aloe vera gel is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe barbadensis miller plant.It's a clear gel and has no scent. It may be applied directly to the skin as is.
This base does contain a synthetic preservative system that is present at less than 0.5%. This is to ensure it is shelf-stable and arrives to you in A-grade condition.This base has been thickened with natural cellulose (plant fibre).

Over time, this natural cellulose may break down, causing the gel to thin. This is most likely to happen in hot climates or in the summer months. This process is quite normal and providing the base is odourless, it is still ok to use as usual. If it is too thin to use as a gel, you may prefer to add it to creams, cleansers or shampoos/conditioners recipes
